Course Details

In this course, we will explore the function of FEM and how to process lost and spare keys using the ACDP-2 tool. This practical course will guide you through the preparation and processing of both the FEM and DME, and how to extract data to produce a dealer key. We will cover several established methods for creating a dealer key, sharing best practices throughout the process.

Course Features:

  • Understanding and demonstrating how to install and activate the modules on the ACDP-2
  • Research methods for identifying FEM/BDC and DME units
  • Preparing the vehicle for programming, including backing up coding
  • Best practices for removing the FEM/BDC and DME
  • Preparing the DME to read the ISN
  • Processing FEM/BDC for programming
  • Producing a dealer key
  • Deleting keys
  • Providing handouts and process notes
